So You Think You Can Blog?

What would you do if you knew you wouldn't fail?

Think about that.

Do you have your answer?

Good, me too.

If your answer doesn't align with what you are actively pursuing every day, then I think it's time to change your game plan...

I love bargain fashion, yummy food finds, sweaty workouts and fun friend outings. I love styling my closet different ways and sharing great things I find with the people I love. What better way to combine all of my loves than into one super fun and engaging platform, a lifestyle blog.

"What would I write about?" "Would anyone read it?" "What if people think it's weird?"

This is what I would do if I knew I wouldn't fail, so I am finally launching PUBLICDISPLAYOFACCESSORIES.COM. *insert happy dance*

Welcome to Public Display of Accessories- a place for people learning to #adult and following their hearts, chasing something every day that makes them smile.

Let me clue you in on a little secret: I am not a model, chef, stylist or personal trainer.

I am a normal, southern girl with a flair for fashion and a sweet tooth. I am a public relations professional, a writer, a social media marketer and a full-time bargain hunter.

On PDA, you'll find outfits that don't cost as much as your monthly rent and recipes that won't require a $200 trip to the grocery store. You'll find unique pieces that you can own without selling a kidney on the black market. You will find a few splurges and lots of saves. You'll come across a couple of bad jokes and some real life #postgradprobs. But, most importantly, you'll find a community of people who are all learning to do this real-life thing together.

I am not here to portray a picture-perfect simulation of a life. I am here to encourage you to have fun, be yourself and share your strengths, struggles, suggestions and smiles with everyone around you.

So, let your hair down and stay a while. Take a minute today to ask yourself, "What would I do if I knew I wouldn't fail?" And I would personally like to be the first to wish you all the luck chasing the crazy dream that just popped into your head. Let's start this journey together, shall we?

Muah, Payton
