Winter is coming
And with winter, comes Holiday parties! Cocktails, friends, presents, lights, snacks...but....
To keep you from being in a predicament, I have come up with a few outfit options for my gals. Since there are really only a few times a year that you can pull off velvet and fur all at once, why not go all out?
I know it is the Holiday season and that means you are BUSY so I will cut straight to the chase. Here are my favorite velvet dresses under $50:
I love the long sleeve dresses because I get a little casper-ish in the winter, so I like for sleek sleeves to cover my pale limbs. Once you snag a dress under $50, you have a little more $$ to spend on a coat and accessories. Holiday parties make me feel like I can dress more glam than usual, so I love adding statement earrings to the mix.
Cold temps can still be cute. To prove that to you, I am dropping links for some fab faux fur that you can wear year after year.
Faux Fur Stole - a great way to accessorize over a leather jacket or a long sleeve dress. You can even style it over a denim jacket on a more casual day.
Faux Fur Oversize Jacket (ON SALE!)
To make sure that we have you looking good from head to toe...it's time to talk shoes.
I invested in this Steve Madden pair of block heels for a Kappa Delta formal years ago and I have had so many reasons to wear them since then. You can find them here. They are oh-so versatile and they come in several colors AND heel heights. Find the shorter heel version here.
There are lots of less expensive options for the penny pincher, props to you girl. Peep the links below to see some steals in this popular shoe:
JC Penny version is under $30 and has so many color options!
Amazon has their version too!
Target similar style never fails.
Hopefully, reading this guide helps you assemble an outfit so that you can focus on finding presents and enjoying your friends and family. Merry (early Christmas) to my babes. Maybe some of you will even snag a little PDA under the mistletoe this year... ;)
