Movies on Netflix
I have taken on the extremely difficult task of watching and reviewing the Christmas movies on Netflix for you. Some are great, some are average and some aren’t worth the watch. Keep reading for deets and opinions that will help you decide what to watch next time you cuddle up by the Christmas tree!

The Princess Switch
The Parent Trap meets Princess Diaries at Christmas. Of course it is a little cheesy and Vanessa’s fake British accent is distracting, but it was adorable. This one is a must-watch for the Holiday Season! Did I mention Sam Palladio from the show Nashville plays the price? Yeah. Bonus points for that one!
Christmas with a View
The chef equivalent of the Bachelor gets a job at a small town restaurant where he falls in love with the manager who is also an aspiring restaurateur (convenient!). A sleezy boss, family tragedy and a tear-worthy ending made this one a top pick.
A Holiday Engagement
Your usual “rich girl falls for poor guy” plot but it was CUTE. Interesting facts…Haylie Duff is a supporting role in this one - where you been girl!? And the hottie from Dawson’s Creek, Jordan Bridges, makes a comeback as the leading male. Big fan of this one and the several love triangles that come with it. This one gives me The Proposal vibes, which is a great thing.
The Christmas Inheritance
It is shocking… but a big city girl with a high-profile job falls in love with a simple, small town boy who brings her back down to earth. Sound familiar? Very predictable but cute and enjoyable. It even has a few heart-warming moments.
The Holiday Calendar
An advent calendar leads to true love. That is a story line I haven’t heard before! I appreciate the originality and really enjoyed this one.
The Christmas Prince
What is it with Christmas movies having royalty in them now? I honestly can’t say I mind. Lots of lies and love in this one which make for an interesting watch. If you have time, sneak this one on to your list!
The Christmas Chronicles
Not bad, just super basic. If you are going to watch a movie like this, I would just stick with the classic Santa Clause ones with Tim Allen. It was cute though and if you care, it was made by the same producers as Harry Potter and Home Alone. I do LOVE Home Alone. That should be on your watch-list too!
Merry Kissmas 4/10
Ehhhh. Not for me.
Christmas Wedding Planner 3/10
Thank you, next!
Of course there are plenty of classics that you need to watch. The Grinch, Four Christmases, Home Alone, A Christmas Story, Elf, the list goes on and on. This list is just some a review of some movies that were recently added to Netflix. Grab a hot chocolate and hit the couch. Popcorn is mandatory.
