White Roundup

Easter is right around the corner and so is my wedding! Whether you are getting married or wanting a cute white dress for spring, this roundup should make your shopping a little easier!

I am going to share dresses that I have recently purchased so that I can vouch for the quality and fit!

1. Asos Ruffle One-Shoulder Dress

This dress is without a doubt the most chic thing I have ever purchased. I was skeptical of it online because I thought that the ruffle would be too big. When it came in I was surprised by the extremely structured fabric, but in a good way! The ruffle IS big, but I think it is so fun and unexpected. I ordered a size 6 (the model below is wearing a 4) and it fits me perfectly. It hits in the middle of my thigh and is fitted in the waist with plenty of room for hips and  booty in the skirt ;) I highly recommend this one for cocktail parties, date parties or formals. I am planning to wear it to my engagement party! *squeals with excitement*

2. Belk Lace Detail Dress

Okay so I'll be honest. I don't normally shop at Belk unless I am looking for shoes, but I was in the mall so I decided to stop in. I found several white dresses that were under $50, fit perfectly and were just right for my upcoming showers. I decided to purchase this one because I love the sheer paneling through the midriff and the lace on the shoulders. They were sold out of smalls, so I got a medium and it fits really well in the waist. I think I would prefer a small, but the medium gives a little wiggle room for dessert, which is fine with me! I think I will wear this dress a lot, even after the wedding. I can see it making trips to the beach with me!

3. VICI Lace Dress

So maybe I have a thing for lace fit and flare? IDK! But how cute is this one!? I think you could totally make this an Easter dress. It doesn't look as low cut on me as it does on the model. There is a little snap in the neck line that helps keep it from gaping open. I love the natural lace on the neckline and the loose sleeves are so dreamy and romantic! The chest and waist fit snug in a size small, and I like that!

4. Lulu's Midi Dress

This one was kind of going out on a limb for me. I am 5'2, and for some reason I always tell myself that I can't wear maxi or midi dresses because my legs are too short. I ordered this one with full intentions of it not fitting, me pouting and then returning it. To my surprise, it is actually pretty cute! I think the fact that the lace is sheer from the thighs down makes it doable for petite girls! The way that the lace cuts up in the center also makes it more flattering. I love that they chose a nude underlay instead of a white one. I think it makes this dress very whimsical. It reminds me of a garden party and I am all about it.

5. Lulu's Casual Embroidered Dress

This is definitely a more casual dress. I see this one as a date-night, honeymoon, night out with the girls at the beach kinda dress. It has a low-cut and wide neckline, so I wouldn't recommend it for more chesty girls. It does have built in pads though, so if you are like me (aka barely need a bra) then it is a really comfy option to throw on before you go out. I ordered a small and it fits just right. Dress it up with some wedges, a half-up hairdo and a cute clutch. Dress it down with a cross body bag, a pony tail and a pair of sandals. I think this could also pair well with a denim jacket for a colder night. *packs for honeymoon*

*******

While shopping for outfits, planning a wedding and attending parties and showers is SO fun, I definitely never forget the reason that I get to experience all of this...my fiance! Each time I try on a dress, I imagine what Hunter would think of it. Not because I need his approval to be happy or feel pretty, but because I want him to be proud that he chose me. I want to present my best self to him. As cheesy as it sounds, it's true! If you have someone that you love, someone you want to be your best self for, someone who lights up your day and makes you goofy smile and belly laugh, you should enter the #OurKindOfLove Giveaway with WeddingWire.
