Summer Swim

Summer Swim

It's about that time. Summer is halfway over and you are sick of the swimsuits you've worn repeatedly to every tanning session, pool party and beach trip. I feel you girl. Spending money on swimsuits can be tough because you only wear them for a few months out of the year. This is a major problem for me because I LOVE swimsuits!

I made it my mission to find cute, trendy, affordable swimmies for my trip to Punta Cana and I think I succeeded. So, it is only natural that I share the deets with my people. All of these swim pieces are under $20, some even under $15! If you pay attention to the colors you purchase, you can easily mix and match.

I'm linking some of my favorite pieces for you below! For size reference, I generally wear a size S top and M bottom. If it is a one piece, I do a medium. I'm 5'2 and a size 4. I hope this helps make your online ordering a smooth process!

So go ahead, get yourself a new 'kini or cover-up for your next adventure! I won't judge.

Bandeau swim top | Black sarong | Tory Burch Flip Flops | Ray Ban Cats 5000 | Bandanna Headband Bar Earrings | Pearl Necklace

This is the perfect top for tanning! No annoying tan lines are left on your shoulders. I love the simplicity of this top. I think it looks really classy and timeless. Hunter said it reminded him of a Real Housewife, and I was honestly more flattered than I should have been lol.

A sarong is something you need in your wardrobe. A good black one will go FAR for you. I personally don't love my upper thighs, so throwing this on to walk around the pool or snap a picture with Hunter while still looking beachy was wonderful. It will never go out of style, so get one that you can keep for years!

I adore a good headband or scrunchie for the beach. It helps distract from my knotted post-salt water hair.

Stripe top | White bottoms | Yeti | Budha Girl bracelets | Similar hair scarf | Sheila Fajl Earrings | Ray Ban Cats 5000

I would say this top runs a little small. It is padded, which is awesome.

The bottoms are lined really well. I generally avoid white swimsuit bottoms but these are plenty thick and have full coverage for me in the back.

I carried my Yeti with me everywhere! At all-inclusive resorts they will make your drink IN your Yeti or tumbler. It is a super good idea to bring one so that your drink stays cold while you lay out, in case you're a slow-sipper like me.

CAN I GET AN AMEN FOR THE SHEILA FAJL EARRINGS? They are so lightweight, I never even feel them! They are called "everyone's favorite hoops" and there is a reason why.

Similar black one-piece | Bandanna scrunchie

PSA: This is the first one-piece I have worn since elementary school and I don't hate it. The back is really strappy and fun so I don't feel like it gives me a pancake butt...or at least I hope it doesn't.

Cowboy hat | Velvet swimsuit

I am NOT OVER this swimsuit from Wal-Mart. They have really upped their apparel game and I love this suit. It is super soft and has plenty of lining. The price...you can't beat it.

Where do you get your affordable but good quality suits? I have heard Cupshe has great options but I can't usually buy my tops and bottoms in pairs so I haven't tried that yet. Let me know your favorites so I can explore more!

I've said it before and I will say it again, reach out to me with any questions! I can send you more details about the fit, lining, comfort, etc. of each piece. I love chatting with you guys and I hope you enjoy following along.

Now I'm off to catch a flight to the beach for my sorority little sisters BACHELORETTE TRIP! See you soon, Pensacola and Mrs. Pugh!! *squeals with excitement*

Xx
