Not Your Dad’s Blazer

Hey boss lady! You work HARD and you look good while you’re doing it. You are a woman among girls and you SLAYYY the day, especially when you dress for success. These blazers will have you owning your workplace, and they may even let you take ‘em out for drinks after ;)

I am all about the “dress well test well” philosophy. I feel so much more motivated when I am put-together. It is amazing what a good blazer over a simple white tee or tank will do for your confidence! If you are new to the blazer world, I recommend a simple black one because they are so versatile, but here’s a list of some really fun and professional ones that will set you up for success for work or the weekend.

How I Styled It

The options for blazers are endless! Throw it on over a graphic tee with some denim shorts and sneakers for a cool, laid back vibe. Put it over a plain black dress and a pair of heels for a dressier look, or bring the casual office vibes like I did with this outfit. A blazer, simple white tee, jeans, loafers and a tote and you’re set.

The Details

You can find my plaid blazer here. It also comes in black!

This bag is an all-time favorite by ABLE. Their company has an amazing mission and is changing the game by publishing the wages of the women who are creating your bags, ensuring that everyone gets a fair shake. You can read ALLLL about it here.

These jeans are a basic Old Navy staple.

As for my tee, I’ve made a freakin’ suhhweet list of the best basic white tees over on my Amazon page, click here to see them!

My glasses are a necessity for long days at work since I am constantly reading or looking at a computer screen. Fun fact: I am legally blind in my left eye. Yep, bet you didn’t see that coming #punintended

This belt is a, dare I say it, knock-off!

My necklace is vintage David Yurman from my mom’s collection, but here’s my ring and bracelet.
